ONLY R&J ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS OFFER THE EXTRA STEP OF
INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY INSPECTION
R&J professionals are trained to read the non-destructive heat images to detect problems that aren’t visible to the naked eye: poor connections, unbalanced loads, deteriorated insulation, overloaded neutral current and other problems in energized electrical components.
Thermography, also known as Infrared Inspection, senses the heat emitted in a thermal image. Many systems in place today did not originally anticipate the high electrical loads that air conditioning and electronics bring to most buildings. As components deteriorate, there is a higher temperature profile. R&J detects these temperature differences. By detecting high-resistance connections and repairing them, your environment will be safer and there will be less chances of a breakdown. Detecting and repairing failing components also conserves energy and lowers your monthly bills.
